Sometimes in manufacturing, problems arise that are out of our control. Faulty powder coating, inaccurate steel folding, incorrect finishing, or travel damage.
We have a backlog of shelf brackets that haven’t met our high standards, and instead of gathering dust in the workshop, we have decided to sell them at a huge 60% discount.
These brackets have cosmetic errors but depending on your needs they may be perfect for use as is, or could be stripped down, refinished, and installed.
This vintage-style industrial heavy-duty lip shelf bracket is a throwback to the times when products were over-engineered and built to last. Our hand-fabricated brackets are made from 6mm / 0.25” mild steel and are designed to sustain large amounts of weight with no brace or gusset. This shape provides no obstruction or intrusion to the shelf below, maximizing space and minimizing the aesthetic.
These brackets have been tested with a static weight of up to 20kg each. Three standard sizes are available to suit shelf depths of 190mm, 250mm, and 300mm.
There are no returns on sale items.
A list of inconsistencies you may find with your brackets may include one or more of the following:
Chipped powder coat
Glossy powder coat instead of matte
Inconsistencies and blemishes in the finish
Inaccurate folding
Poorly finished steel stock under powder coat
Poorly laser-cut steel stock
Inaccurate hole dimensions

Screw Options:
We supply a range of decorative traditional-style black oxide screws and bolts to complement our industrial steel shelf brackets. Traditional bolts had square heads instead of hexagonal heads, whilst the screws had slotted heads instead of the modern Phillips' head.

Little Anvil industrial steel bracket mounting holes suit our #12 screws and ¼" lag bolts. We recommend using a ¼" rub washer in conjunction with the lag bolts.

For the wall fixture, we'd suggest at least a 2" screw. For locating your shelving, the screw length will be dependent on your shelf thickness. If you are mounting the brackets onto masonry such as brick, concrete, or block - we supply blackened head masonry anchors that can be found here:
