Our Industrial Clevis Eye Hook is the perfect robust and over-engineered alternative to your standard everyday wall or ceiling hook.
This product is hand fabricated out of 5mm mild steel and a forged clevis eye hook which would normally be used in the transportation and restraint of heavy loads. This is the perfect addition to your industrial interior project. Perfect for use as a coat hook, plant hanger, chain suspension, ceiling hook - the list of potential applications is endless.
We have plug welded tabs onto the 5mm steel backplate and fit the eye hook to them with a custom flanged purlin bolt. The backplate has been stamped with the LA mark and everything is finished in black oxide with an oiled finish to help create an authentic industrial look and feel.
Mounting hardware is not supplied. It’s shown in the photographs for reference with our #12 round-headed screws. See below for detailed information on screw options.
The black oxide finish provides a level of corrosion protection so as to not rust in protected environments. It is not suitable for permanent outdoor use as it would gradually rust over time unless it was regularly treated with oil.
Caveats:
Not suitable for heavy lifting such as block and tackle applications.

Screw Options:
We supply a range of decorative traditional style black oxide screws and bolts to complement our steelwork. Traditional bolts had square heads instead of hexagonal heads, whilst the screws had slotted heads instead of the modern Phillips' head.
If you are mounting into a stud or using a suitable wall plug, we suggest our #12 round head screw or 1/4” lag bolts for this product. The length will be dependent on your application
